Chabad of Moorpark

About

Chabad of Moorpark is a warm, welcoming Chabad-Lubavitch center in Ventura County, led by Rabbi Shimon and Mrs. Heidingsfeld. Services are open to every Jew regardless of background or affiliation, with no membership and no dues. Prayers follow the traditional nusach but are made accessible to beginners: siddurim are Hebrew/English, instructions and commentary are given in English, and the Rabbi offers a short English synopsis during the Torah reading. A Kiddush follows every service. The center also offers adult education, Torah study, women's programming, holiday services and a Chabad house at Moorpark College.
